Hi! I'm Macy :)
I'm the artist and designer behind Wild Places Ahead. After earning my degree in graphic design, I set out to build a creative life around the things I loved most: making art, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
Wild Places Ahead began with a few creative ideas inspired by road trips, national parks, mountain towns, wildlife, and the memories collected along the way. Over time, those ideas grew into this independent store with vintage-inspired designs, printed the way I'd want to wear them.
Wild places deserve to be remembered, worn, and protected, not just visited and forgotten. My goal is to create comfortable, thoughtfully designed apparel that feels like a keepsake from a favorite adventure or inspiration for wherever you might go next. That's also why 5% of every purchase goes toward organizations working to protect the wild places that inspire this shop in the first place.
